Cornelius had really loose stool last night and this morning. I added two tablespoons of the canned Merrick Puppy Plate to his kibble. He's had Merrick canned before but not this "flavor" Could this small amount have an effect on his digestive system?

    Thanks in advance!

Sure, it could if there is something in that formulation that he has a sensitivity to. Or, of course, it could be that something else entirely has upset his system.

The easiest way to know for sure is to hold off feeding that canned food again until after his system settles down. Then test it a second time. If you get the same reaction, you know that formula of canned doesn't suit him. And if there's no reaction, then something else was the problem (and may remain a mystery).
