Makes for beautiful pictures but that doesn't keep you warm when you lose power due to downed power lines!

We are about 60 miles north of Indianapolis and we had some ice on Sunday, nothing like that! But about half of our town was out of power yesterday. We were supposed to get ice last night but it went north of us, thank God!

I love to see the ice on everything, but not here, and not there for you either. It's hard to believe that we are having a 60degree day in Ohio, and you're having that ice. I hope that all melts soon and that you all get out and about. BTW, your place looks nice in your pics(not the ice). Stay warm!!

Gorgeous pictures.
To tell you the truth I kind of miss the really cold weather. We moved from England to So.Cal - big difference in the weather. I never thought I would miss the cold, frosty, misty weather. It makes it more like Christmas when Jack Frost is around. OK - enough of my moaning.

Wow! Pretty pics, but I know how damaging that ice can be. We had a bad ice storm here three years ago and it was just like that! It is so strange what is going on all over the country right now regarding weather. It was 75 and sunny here today!

Hmmm... I can't seem to get past the ice to see the pretty! :( It just made me pull out my electric blanket! ;) And guess who's burrowing underneath it! I hope there wasn't any serious damage done! I know how it can be... that was my place three years ago!

I'm actually jealous!!! Here it was 85+ degrees today and it hasn't felt like Christmas is coming yet. I look forward to the cold every year and this year I don't think I'm going to get it :( Granted that doesn't look fun but Widges said it best, it's supposed to feel like Christmas in December not the middle of July. Ok sorry I will quit and I hope you guys get some relief from what looks like wicked weather :)

Oh, I'm so envious of everyone who said it was in the 70's or more there! We lost electricity for about 3 hours today. It looks like it is done now, we just need to thaw out. ;)

Those are beautiful pictures. I hope it melts quickly. We just moved, and my new co-workers have been good-natured teasing me about how much snow we get here. They worry about me driving to work in it. I just reply: "I'm from Kansas, I am used to driving on ice!!"
I hope you don't have to get out in it, and if you do be careful!!
Our highs have been in the low 20's. It isn't too bad. If it isn't snowing it is sunny and that helps it feel warmer. :)

Stay warm everyone!!
