Super Boxer
Beasley started off the New Year with about 40 stitches in his ear after having two huge ear hematomas that required more attention than just draining. Half the stitches are on the outside of his ear where the vet used some kind of thin plastic film to help maintain his ear shape during the healing process. The poor guy is wearing the evil e-collar
and bumping into everything. Vet didn't find anything in either ear canal during the surgery so we still don't know why he shakes his head all the time. Apparently he flaps his ears around enough to burst the blood vessels :(.
I feel sooooo bad for him ... right now I don't dare take that collar off him with all those stitches, but it's hard for him to eat and drink and he can't play with his KONG or eat any good chewies 'cause he can't hold onto them with his front paws (which is so cute - it's like he has hands!) while chewing. It's got to be a real drag for him.
Mister B. could use some good healing vibes and virtual hugs from his BW pals.
