Will eating a snake skin hurt the dog? I would think he should be able to digest it with no problems.

Gawd, they'll eat anything won't they?! LOL

I wouldn't think it would do any harm since the skin is so fragile but a quick call to the vet wouldn't hurt.

Was it just a shed snake skin that he found in the yard? If so, I don't think it will cause any problems. If it is some sort of tanned skin that might be a different story.

It was a recently shed skin that my son had in his room. It's been a few days and he seems to be eating and relieving himself normally.
