bruno!

Boxer Pal
Bruno got a little sister a few days ago, a rottweiler/boxer cross, named Jade. bruno's a little stressed about the situation, but getting better. He is very timid and the pup is a little aggressive. has anyone else ever felt that they miss the time that they had with their first dog soon after getting the second? I know that it's a new situation for everyone to get used to, but I was just wondering if these feelings are common.

don't worry.. i felt the same!
soon after we took Oxford (last august).. i had that fear that i did a mistake... that little guy is taking over Snatch, and I felt really bad!

even now, sometimes, i feel like Snatch must be mad for having Oxford.. he steals his bed, take over his favorite spots around the house, take his toys.... and even more because Snatch is so submissive, he lets Oxford have EVERYTHING! :(

But when they play and burn their little boxer energy together, it's sooooo cute and Snatch so much happier now he has a "brother" :) he gained weight (he stopped eating last april... he was depressed...) and now eats with pleasure. He's more active and loves going for walk with Oxford.

They make a great team, but i guess you'll be feeling this after a while.... that little puppy has to gain your heart first :)

Absolutely!!!!!!!! ;) When we got Chief~ our lab mix, Sam, wanted nothing to do with him! Chief was very rambunctious and aggressive! foolicon It took nearly 3-4 weeks for sam to come around to him! He wouldn't come near him and we started to miss our cuddle time with Sam! However, he started coming around and we revamped our cuddle time! appicon Now we have tons of cuddle time with both dogs! ;) I understand your stress... but they'll come around!
