Can't believe it is eight monthes since we adopted her! She went from not looking me in the eye to bounding from the door when I come home from work or anywhere for that matter. She follows me everywhere and loves to go for rides in the car. She was a skinny, pitiful girl and now she is a beautiful silver brindle. I honestly thought she would only live a couple of months, as she is 9 now and we had never had a Boxer live past 6, well it is as though she has gotten younger, I guess in spirit because she has such a springy gait now. I love her. At Christmas we have a big annual openhouse and this year, as in the past we had close to 35 people at any given time and she was so wellbehaved, it was amazing. Its like she has always been here.

What a wonderful story. Sounds like she has found a reason to keep living :) and be happy. I hope she has many more years with you!

Thanks so much for the update, I was wondering about her. lovicon This is a pure example of someone being kind enough, and loving the breed enough to give an ole senior dog a second chance at a wonderful, loving, forever home. Thanks grin2icon
