OK guys this is driving me nuts.....lets see if you can get it: I know it seems pretty easy, but I can't wrap my little brain around it. Good Luck

There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each girl has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.

For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

1582? or 1584 if there is a bus driver on the bus?

or 16 legs (counting the bus driver if stuffed animal legs don't count).

I'm not good at these either.

Ok, me and the girl I work with came up with 10,990 cat and people legs. That would be with out the bus driver. With the bus driver 10,992.

Well since its a brain teaser you have one of two options that I see...

People legs: 16
Animal and people legs: 10,992

But I also fully admit that I might be missing something totally obvious since its a brain teaser... But the with the math I see those are the numbers I get. Let us know when you find out the "answer" for sure!

LOL that was fun. At first I didn't count the driver, but then I thought maybe that was why it was a brain teaser... hehehe oh well!

7 girls X 2 legs each = 14 legs
7 girls X 7 backpacks X 7 big cats X 4 legs each cat = 1372 big cat legs
7 girls X 7 backpacks X 7 big cats X 7 little cats X 4 legs each = 9604 little cat legs
Add them all up (and forget about a driver ) and you get 10,990 legs
