Boxer - Themed Nursery

I haven't posted in quite awhile, but am usually out here laughing at our babies' antics.

Hubby and I are expecting our first skin baby in June. I'm planning to decorate the nursery in puppies (Boxers of course) but don't want anything too babyish.

Have any of you decorated your nurseries with boxers (or other dogs)? Any ideas? My Mom is making the bedding and I'm planning to have some black and white shots of my fur-babies taken and blown up to hang on the walls.

Here's hoping I can teach the baby to ring the bell pretty quickly (he he he)....

That's great! Our nursery (due in April) isn't Boxer themed, but we have frames hanging with black and whites of our babies. Oh, and we have a stuffed Boxer for his baby toy ;)

Good luck! Show us pictures when it's done!

Hi Daria! Congratulations on the new baby! Since my youngest will be 21 in April ( he is the one in my avitar with my 2 babies ) I haven't thought of a nursery theme in a long time, but I think your theme is adorable! It will look awesome when done...send us a picture of the finished room....

Has anyone seen a large dog-bone shaped area rug anywhere?

I've seen the braided ones that are like placemats for food and water bowls and the ones that are meant to go outside.

My nursery isn’t boxer themed. It’s just a modern nursery but I do have some art up that has boxers in it. I have attached some pictures. I purchased my art on etsy.com . If you search "boxer dogs" on that site you'll find lots of stuff.

I love the idea of a boxer nursery sounds cute! Our LO is 9 months and I still haven't 100% decided how to decorate...pretty bad I know. Currently I have some curious George decals on his walls which he seems to love but that's it. The only real idea I have so far is a family tree photo collage. I saw it on an episode of Divine design it will be a giant collage of photo's in b&w of family and our boxer boy Rocco as well. Our LO loves his doggy!

EAO76: love what you did with your nursery totally modern and cool! Where did you find the decals of the trees? I need one for around my collage.

Aww love the idea of a boxer themed nursery and you could do it with any colour combo too and it would work perfectly i think! Love that orange nursery too btw! I cannot wait to have another little one but we are thinking 2011 for us :)Have fun and cannot wait to see the finished product!
