Boxer in western MA shelter

Great - I was hoping someone could help him!

How do rescues become aware of boxers in shelters? Is this the best way to get the word out if I see a dog in a shelter?

I called them and he is still there so one of our volunteers is going to evaluate him over the weekend and hopefully we can get him into a foster home next week

Some shelters contact rescue groups directly, sometimes we find them from searching on-line ourselves, but sometimes if they have a lot of people interested they don't need help from rescue.
