As an aspiring breeder and exibitor of Boxers as well as a collector of anything that has to do with Boxers. I want everybody's opinion on what is considered the "Boxer Bible". I own " The boxer" by John Wagner, I found it on ebay for a really good price! I also have "The World of Boxers" by Richard Tomita, also from ebay for a great price. Are there any other books out there that you feel are a must have for a great Boxer book collection? I'll add a poll to see what is considerd the " Boxer Bible".

I like Stephanie Abraham's: The Boxer Family Favorite. It has good advice and nice full color pictures.

My boxer bible has been both 'The Boxer Handbook' by Joan Hustace Walker and 'Training Your Boxer' also by Joan Hustace Walker. Both have been great sources of info.

My vote had to go to Ricks book, 600 pages on boxers, the most volumous book on boxers and as far as I know any breed......and always referred as a must have for any boxer fanatic. Just as an aside, no I'm not biased.lol

hello

Hey everyone,
I do not own a boxer yet, will be getting my first puppy sometime in September hopefully! I can't wait!!! I haven't read many books on Boxers thus far, the one that I have gone through in detail, and find to be quite good and informative is "Boxers for Dummies" by Richard G. Beauchamp!
Just after seeing this posting I did a search in google for a particular boxer book, and one of the first links was one which lists very many books published on Boxers. I had no idea there were this many books, and thought this mind be interesting news to some of you as well...so here is the link:
