I am wanting to start a raw diet with my dogs as the information I have read in the forums makes sense to me . I want to do more research first however as it seems almost to simplistic. . . just feed meat and bone 2x a day starting with chicken. I am looking for some good books that all you raw feeders would recommend. Thanks

The best reads, in my opinion are two books written by Tom Lonsdale.

The first, "Raw Meaty Bones", is alot about the periodontal disease caused by feeding highly processed, high carbohydrates, "artificial" diets, and the benefits of feeding a natural species appropriate diet. Periodontal disease is widely believed, in all animals, to be a harbinger of other health issues.

The other, "Works Wonders", is more focused on how to feed a proper raw diet.

Those are good places to start. The works of Ian Billingshurst are also good reads.
