blue eyes

We want to adopt a Boxer from the dog shelter. It is a bitch of 5 months old.
She is white with brown brindle marks. I have seen photo's of this kind of Boxers on the website.
But she has light blue eyes.
Is this normal for a Boxer?

My little white girl has one blue eye and one brown eye. I think (not sure though) it is something that follows the "white" trait as I have never seen a "colored" Boxer with blue eyes. A lot of huskies, etc. have blue eyes. She can see out of it just fine! Her mom's previous litter also had a white Boxer with one blue eye!

In answer to your question I don't think it is too abnormal since she is white!
I think she will be just fine!

I've seen serveral white boxer's with blue eyes. In fact, Briggs has a white boxer brother with one blue eye and one brown. He's absolutely adorable, and seems to see just great.

I'm jealous, sounds like someone has found my white boxer with tiger stripes!! Or zebra stripes, whichever you prefer. I would watch her for sunburn maybe if she's white with blue. I know some whites will sunburn, I don't know if the blue eyes could mean it would be worse or not. Good luck with giving this baby a new loving home

I have seen several white boxers with blue eyes, from what I've seen there is really no difference. I was told by an uneducated breeder that they are albino, but she cannot be albino if she has dark spots.
