I have noticed that when my 5 month old and 7 month old are playing they bite at each others ankles. This happens especially when one is tired or walking away, the other one will bite its legs to get them to play again. Is this normal.

My boxer pup does this to my older boxer. It drives her crazy, which is exactly what he is trying to do. He even knaws on her ears. He doesn't bit them he just gums them. It is hysterical. It definately gets her to chase him!

My boy has scars on his back legs from both my girls. He does not correct them and they both take advantage :) Poor boy, loves them anyway

Completly normal! As long as they aren't biting/pulling hard then they're fine. Mine and my sister's do it ALL the time! It's as if they're saying "we're not done playing yet so don't walk away from me." It usally works too. Most times it happens the dogs end up playing again for at least another 5 minutes.

When I had my previous 2 boxers the younger one would always be biting Zeus ankles . Poor guy had permanent marks . I'd say its there way of saying "I'm gonna make you play with me" .

thank you so much. I was worried. I also found out that I have to take their collars off why they are playing because if not they try to lead each other around that way...
