Best stuff to use for ears???

I am using something called Oti Soothe that I get from my vet. It is expensive. My girl has allergies and I have to clean her ears about every third day. What is the best to use and am I cleaning too much. It seems like if I let them go for more than a week they become really a mess. Thanks. BILL

If she has allergies, do you know what is the cause(s)? Very often it is food related, and getting rid of grains and/or changing the protein source can be the answer.

Boxer, she eats Verus fish and potato and Innova bisquits. She has been diagnosed and treated for yeast in the past. She definetely has seasonal allergies that get worse in change of seasons. BILL
