Rebelle's Mom

Boxer Booster
I've got just a quick question. Just need someone to put my mind at ease I guess. (worrywart I am!)

When I compare Copper's bathroom habits to Rebelle's at his age, I'm noticing a huge difference. I find Copper doesn't need to go as frequently as Rebelle did. But what concerns me and what I hope is normal, is that he doesn't seem to defecate often to me. Maybe 3 times per day which seems really infrequent for a puppy. I remember Rebelle going almost every time she went out for a pee. Is this ok or should I be concerned?

Thanks!!

Lori

Are you using the same food you used for Rebelle at this age? I have found different brands of kibble can make a big difference in the amount and size of stool.

Yup same food. The breeders had been feeding him that food for a couple of weeks also so he wouldn't have to be switched as soon as we got him home. I'm guessing that his bathroom schedule is just a little different than Rebelle's. I just need some affirming comments LOL

Thanks for your reply :)

I wouldn't worry. I think all dogs are different.

I think Jan is right. For example, as a pup Tina needed to go to toilet quite often and my neighbour's dog did it only three times a day. Don't worry :)
