Boxer Insane
Ok.. here's the little problem.
I have 2 boxers, Snatch (4) and Oxford (6months).
They play great and have fun all the time. When they play, it's usually boxer growl which is sooo cute i think.. it sounds like gremlins meet chubacka (spel?)
We have awesome neighbors. One couple has a westie (george, 1), one couple has a white boxer (bosco 1) and another girl has a mix big dog (oliver 2)
They always play and have fun time together.
The problem is when Snatch plays with Bosco... it's like Oxford can't stand not being "in the game" and he will bark our ears off!
Snatch can play with George, Oliver.. whoever.. but not Bosco. it's not a mean bark.. Oxford is not aggresive. it's just jealous i think. So he starts barking and grab Snatch's back legs like he's saying "hey!! i'm here!!!!!"
(he doesn't like either / he barks when George plays with Maggie, a beagle mix)
The problem: i can't have him bark like that all the time. We live in an appartment complex, and we already can't let them off-leash... so when we do, I don't want the other neighbors at their windows to see "which dog is barking!"
I bought a remote control bark collar. We are working on it. We got the remote control one because we don't want him to be corrected for the smallest growls.
when they all play, i click when he barks, with a quiet and i remove him from the game (when i can catch him.. they play and run far sometimes).
when he plays quietly, i praise him and reward his behaviour.
i feel bad because he knows. Today i'm "baby-sitting" Bosco at home... Snatch and Bosco were playing.. Ox was barking then running up to me with his head down...
I don't want him to think he cannot play.. i just want him to play quietly.

any advice?
