bad breath

What a topic to introduce us with! My name is Chris and my son's name is Tyson. He is a 9 year old fawn boxer, who is my world! He has some really bad breath lately and so far we can not get rid of it. We have him on dry food only(nutro ultra weight management), which he loves, and he gets a treat everytime he goes out, about 4 times a day. We wont put him under to get his teeth cleaned at his age so i was wondering if any one has any remedies that may help.

Have you ever had his teeth and gums checked? There might be an underlying dental problem giving him bad breath.
