Boxer Pal
Hello to all:
After over 20 years, I have a new boxer puppy! We grew up with boxers, had them for probably 20 years.
Right now my husband and I have a German Shepherd/Lab mix, Schweitzer, who is 12 years old. He has always done better when we had another dog for him to play with. He had two other buddies but they both passed away. So, we added Autumn Star, a boxer puppy, about 2 weeks ago. Back to boxers! It's worked out fine - they seemed to have found the balance and we've had a lot of fun with them. Schweitzer is more active, keeping an eye on Star. They love to explore the fenced back yard. Plus smell the cats. Star has been a terrific addition.
I was so pleased to find this site and group. I really appreciate all the advice, comments and stories. Glad to know you are all out there with us!
