Attack of the Nativity Set!

Someone in my apartment complex put out a plastic nativity set on their patio outside. The first time I saw it was 2am and it scared me until I realized what it was. Well, this morning, Basil caught sight of it and thought I need protection. He went nuts - barking, hair up, every muscle tight and he was leaning forward but wouldn't get too close. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I did finally convince him that the Nativity was ok. What a watch dog I have Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Perhaps you might get your own Nativity to let him know it's all okay. And to be on the safe side, pray a blessing over it so it doesn't end up in shreds!

Is it one of the large sets? I can see how Basil mistook it for some people... I am glad you were able to show Basil that it isn't someone trying to hurt you.

When me and Austin go for walks if anyone has any kind of decorations out in their yard they are "evil" and must be barked at with every single hair standing up!

HA!! That's funny! Louie did that to a snowman one time when he was little..... that snowman was the most evil snowman in the world because he sure wanted it to die!
