Anybody with Catahoula Leopard dog experience?

Hi all. I have a foster(long story) right now and she has been idenitified as a Catahoula Leopard Dog.. I have read about the breed and I am training her with her breed characteristics in mind. Do any of you know about the breed or have any advice as to things I should or should not do(we redirect when she tries to herd the skinkids) and we play with her tons as she needs even more exercise than a boxer. I welcome all advice and thanks in advance
