Jake Rocks

Boxer Buddy
Although I lost my precious Boxer angel a little over a month ago, I'm working with a breeder to procure another precious pup if all goes well after January. I had planned to place an underground containment system for the back 1 1/4 acres of our property for use during playtime. However Jake had SAS so severe that any shock of that sort could have stopped his heart. I hadn't gotten so far as to find out if/when it would be safe for a Boxer baby to start with an underground containment system. Any thoughts are welcomed!!! Traditional fencing is also an option, they just scare me a lot as my Jake was such a jumper! :) Thanks for any help.

Not on this site, thanks. If you want to discuss that sort of device, you'll have to go elsewhere. Per the site rules:

Topics and behaviour inappropriate on this site include:
- Discussion of devices or practices that cause electricity to run through a dog. This includes shock collars and electronic fencing.
- Discussion of deliberate use of devices or practices that cause or have the potential to cause physical trauma to a dog.

If overground fencing is an option, I would strongly recommend that it is a minimum of 6" in height.
