Hi
I wrote a big long intro but the computer wanted to quibble over capital letters. The deal is I have an adult female reverse brindle w/ done ears and tail, Barely any white and a strange sense of humor. I have only had her for a year, we are her fourth owners. She was rescued from an abusive home by the gal we got her from. THe road to stability has been a long hard one but we are almost there, she has been nothing but an angel to my family and I but wreacked havoc on my house. It is a long story I will tell you sometime, but she is here to stay, no more nomadic lifestyle for this little girl. She is only 5 and as I said we are her fourth owners! Poor kid, no wonder she had some issues. That alone would do itn ot to mention the other stuff she has been through. Anyway here I am in Oregon and so happy to hear from other Or boxer owners.

Welcome to the board!! This is such a great place for advice, opinions, laughs, support... Beware though, it can become addicting! :)

What part of Oregon are you in?
I'm just south of Portland. I've been trying to start a boxer play group at the dog park in my area, but haven't had much interest.
If you're interested in getting together, let me know. I'd love to meet you and Me-Tu. (Isn't that the name of one of the Elephants at the zoo?)

Hey there,
Are you the one I read about on Tues. nights@ north clackamas park? I have class starting up pretty soon but I could prob. meet you sometime. I didn't know there was a dog park there.
K & Me-Tu
oh yeah, yep MeTu is the name of the little elephant at the zoo. My lady came with that name,(her third name0 so we left it, I mean geez the dog has to have ownership of something. Actually it suits her really. i.e " I am going to the barn" Me too, me too! " I am going to pick up the pizza" Me too, me too! You get the picture :)

Yes, it was me who was trying to start a boxer play group at North Clackamas Park. Unfortunatetly I haven't been able to get anyone interested.
Are you in the Portland area?
Now that the weather is getting worse and school is starting, I don't know that I'll be going every Tuesday. And, now the dog park closes at 8 pm. :(

I may get together sometime with Terri and her boxer (another member of this board from Salem).
If you're interested, I'd love to meet sometime so the dogs can play. :) Maybe on a weekend?

Yeah in fact I used to live in Milwaulkie. It would be great to get together. You can't convince Me-Tu to play in the rain anyway :) She always gives you that "you first" look. Ok if I e-mail you? Or you can e-mail me.
