Greetings from Ireland on St Patrick's Day !!!!!
Must be a great time to live in Ireland! Does the party last for multiple days?
Thanks, Helen! I am getting my crock pot ready - my feast will be cooking while I am at work. Can't wait!!
Haha no .. If the 17th falls at the weekend then we tend to drag it out but when it falls on a weekday you have to turn up for work the next day , however it has become popular to party on the night of 16th, recover on 17th , back to work on 18 th...
What a great plan!!
The family is getting ready to sit down for some corned beef and cabbage. The puppies are sitting waiting for the leftovers.
My CB&G feast was just as I planned -very, very tasty... Tucker just might get some of my leftover carrots with his dinner tonight. He loves them.
Iv never eaten corned beef , it's not popular in this part of the country .. I had ham & cabbage .. Very tasty .., I even cooked a little extra for the doggies ..
Daisy got carrots and potatoes and a very small amount of corned beef scraps that was too small to even bother with pulling out.
Roge I only have it once a year. I do not think my body can take the salt content more than that.
My wife does make either ham or polish sausage with cabbage and potatoes a few times a year. Very YUMMY!
