Addie Spayed Yesterday, not eating!?

I had Addie spayed yesterday. I brought her home a few hours after surgery. She has been taking Tramadol for pain. The poor girl stays curled up and won't move. I feel so bad because she is in so much pain! She'll get up and waddle to the yard, squat, take two steps when she is done and lay down in the grass. She hasn't eaten AT ALL since I brought her home (so probably no food for 36 hours!) She is drinking minimal water also. I'm not sure if this is somewhat normal immediately after surgery so I wanted others stories. I will be taking her to the emergency clinic soon if still no food. :(
I feel so bad for my baby.

Take her in doesn't sound like meds are working if she is in that much pain. Hope she well feel better soon.

I just spoke with the vet. they said that the meds are causing her to stay slightly sedated which is why she just wants to lay around. they also said it is not uncommon for her to have no appetite for a day or so. If she doesn't eat by the morning, I am taking her in for IV.
Anyone else go through something like this??

We picked Mackensie up in the late afternoon after being spayed on a Wednesday. She was given Rimadyl for pain. She didn't eat that night, or at all the next day and pretty much layed around. I was very worried and called the vet a couple of times... Friday she woke up, and seemed like it had never even happened. She devoured her food and even played a bit, although she wasn't totally back to her old self for a couple more days.

Yesterday afternoon, Addie was still laying around a lot. I tried to feed her boiled chicken, warm wet dog food. She wasn't interested in anything. She finally became interested in (of all things she doesn't ever get!) some cold mac n cheese!! She had a few shells and it seemed to help a lot! Just getting her to eat a little increased her appetite several fold. She started walking around and found a pig's ear and chewed it up and is now playing a little too. She's almost back to her old self! I suppose time is all she needed!
