WOO! HOO! I've been having kitty withdrawals lately and practically begging DH to ALLOW
rolleyes: yeah, right!) me to have one, but yesterday, a higher power than DH intervened and while I was at The Dollar General looking for Santa hats for my kids' Christmas performance, there was a tiny little kitty under my van when I came out. She is so small, so skinny and was so cold, she just laid in my lap all the way home and purred and purred. I did get a couple of pictures of her and Boomer "meeting" (ie-kitty's fur all fluffed out, her tail up and probably her hissing
) He just won't leave her alone, but she really doesn't seem too bothered by him until his nose nudges her a little too hard, then she hides or runs, but he was very gentle and so cute looking at her, then me, then her, like "what is it, mom?" She pretty much stayed on my shoulder the whole evening, I guess for a "street kitty"-the higher, the better. And I keep calling it "she", but I really can't tell if it's a female, or a male that's just too young to tell, yet. But, the vet will be able to tell me Friday, so naming her/him will have to wait till then. We were thinking something along the lines of General if it's a boy, or Dolly if it's a girl- (Dollar General, ya know?)
