    Best glucosamine supplement?

I really like Dasuquin, +/- an omega-3 supplement too.

    Juno

Juno lost her battle today. My heart hurts but I'm glad her body is well again. Love you forever best girlie. Juno CGC 3/31/09 - 12/17/16

    Juno has lymphoma.

Sad news sadicon Juno began acting sick again the beginning of the week. She finished her prednisone 1 week ago (she was on a tapering dose of pred for about 5 weeks, while the chemo was given every 3 weeks), and when I gave her that last dose I had a gut feeling that having her off prednisone...

    Juno has lymphoma.

Thanks everyone! I'll update if there are any changes but at the moment she's a happy, wiggly, hungry boxer :) Today is national canine lymphoma awareness day, so to celebrate the victory of the hurdles she's been over, what better treat than ice cream :)

    Juno has lymphoma.

Thanks for the support everyone! Juno has thankfully been doing really well since getting the different meds on board. We are doing prednisone + a different oral chemo, I am not sure what to expect from it since we only got 3 months while on the "gold standard" treatment... but, they did get...

    Juno has lymphoma.

We are not giving up for sure. As long as there are options to try, as long as I can keep her comfortable.... we will try everything. So we are trying different drugs for now, and likely won't achieve remission again but can at least maintain a good quality life for a little bit longer.

    Juno has lymphoma.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I have answers after her appt tomorrow and hopefully they are not the bad answers I don't want to hear. Her lab work is a little weird. She has glucose in her urine, which normally you would then expect to see a high blood glucose level... but her blood glucose is on the...

    Juno has lymphoma.

Thanks for checking in! I just don't remember to log on here often :( Juno overall has been doing fantastic. Back to her normal weight, eating fine and feeling fine. Unfortunately the reason I thought about this forum today is because we have hit a bump in the road. She is having symptoms...

    Recently neutered male foster

How are things going now? I don't have advice on how to fix the issue as I've never had dogs fight, but I do know that sometimes all it takes is one altercation to completely sour a relationship.

She is still doing really well :) Weight gain was not happening for a while, but now all of a sudden she's put on 5 pounds, so just a couple more pounds to go and she'll be back to her normal weight! But otherwise there's no hint of her being sick, and she's tolerating the chemo very well. She...

    I need help!

I foster for my local cattle dog rescue, I don't have any issues getting attached to them though because there's a very specific kind of dog that I like... and if that dog ever comes through here as a foster, then I'd be in trouble! I just have a "this is not my dog" mindset with them. Like...

She is in remission! Unfortunately we never know how long they'll stay in remission, and obviously while she's still receiving chemo odds are better for right now.. but regardless, we will celebrate each victory.

    Juno has lymphoma.

She goes back Thursday :) Treatment is once a week for 19 weeks I believe, with a week off every 3-4 weeks. Hopefully she responds to all of it as nicely as she did the 1st round! They use 3 different drugs so understandably it's possible that maybe the other drugs make her sick.

    Juno has lymphoma.

Thanks for checking! She had a great weekend! Totally back to acting like 100% normal Juno :) Begging for food like usual, running and playing, and not as weak (she would stumble a bit before when jumping in or out of the car). No more vomiting and her lymph nodes feel significantly smaller to...
